Strengthen the Blue

We are working together across New Mexico to support Democratic candidates in competitive state house races — defending and expanding our majority.

How we can help

Early donations and volunteer time make the biggest difference in state legislative races. These contests are often decided by small margins — your support counts more here than almost anywhere.

Effectively Elected Winners!

These are our candidates who won primaries and are now unopposed in the general election; they are therefore effectively elected to their House or Senate seats. Congratulations to all of them!

Our key races in the NM House

These are our candidates who now face Republican opposition in the November 3 general election. Please support them any way you can.

Incumbent HD-53 rep, Sarah won a narrow 2024 general election and is working to make healthcare and utilities more reliable in southern NM.

Raul Turrieta
Raul Turrieta New Mexico NM-HD-39

Four-term Grant County Assessor and Silver City community pillar, Raul challenges Republican incumbent Luis Terrazas in HD-39.

Update: We studied Raul's opponent's record in the NM House. It's appalling. Read it here.

Chriselle Martinez
Chriselle Martinez New Mexico NM-HD-57

PhD in Counselor Education and Director of Community Relations for MANA de Albuquerque, Chriselle is running to flip HD-57 — lost by fewer than 150 votes in 2024 — as one of the DLCC's five targeted New Mexico House races.

Update: Chriselle just joined the Blue Boosters roster for HD-57 — one of the DLCC's five targeted New Mexico House races, alongside Raul Turrieta's HD-39.
